Citrus Waskaduwa

The room was of a good size and the shower had a great pressure and temperature. The pool was nice and the beach was fun to swim at. The buffet breakfast was nice.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Citrus Waskaduwa, and from the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The warm welcome at check-in instantly set the tone for a relaxing and memorable getaway. The location is simply stunning – right by the golden beach with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. I especially loved waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying the sunset from the comfort of the room balcony. The room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, with every comfort I could have asked for. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the bathroom was well-equipped with premium amenities. The staff truly deserve a special mention – they were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. Every interaction felt warm and personal, making me feel valued as a guest.I would like to give special recognition to the Ms Chalani Perera,the Senior Guest Relations Coordinator for making my stay truly exceptional. From the very first interaction, her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail stood out. She tooks the time to understand my preferences, offered thoughtful recommendations, and ensured that every request was handled with genuine care. What impressed me most was her ability to combine efficiency with a personal touch – always approachable, always ready with a smile, and going above and beyond to make me feel valued as a guest. Thanks to her dedication, my stay was seamless and memorable. The food was another highlight! .The breakfast selection was particularly impressive.

Very nice and spacious rooms. Big and comfortable bed. Hotel pool is also very nice and big. WiFi wasn’t working well during my stay, had problems to connect in the room (maybe because of some electricity shortage in the area). The beach in front of the hotel is quite dirty, garbage and plastic bottles lying around. It should be taken care of. Breakfast buffet is good as well. Fruits, cookies and cakes, white and brown toast bread, lots of rice and curry dishes. Some veggies. There is also a grill station where you can grab a sausage or bacon.
